
Following the completion of his Wharton MBA at McKinsey &Co, Sundar Pichai began his professional career with McKinsey &Co. In 2004 it was his turn to be offered an opportunity to become a part of Google. Pichai's Google project began when he was the president of Product Management, he was initially asked to enhance customer experience with this Google search toolbar that could be used with Firefox and Internet Explorer. Also, Pichai had been engaged in a number of Google product lines, including Google Pack, Gadgets or Google Gears. Later on came the breakthrough in Sundar's Google experience, as his involvement with Google began. Google's own web browser, Chrome. 2008. 2008 was a memorable year for Google, as it saw the Chrome browser introduction and Pichai becoming Vice President for Product Management and Development. He was promoted to Senior Vice President and later promoted to the position of Product Chief Officer of Google in addition to the launch of the Android Smartphone Operating System.
