Dina is a native of Forest Hills Queens and raised in Queens, Forest Hills. She grew up there. She moved from Queens to Dix Hills Long Island before the conclusion of her junior year. Her two brothers are Gregory, her older brother as well as Evan. She started her career in entertainment when she was nine and was modeling. Ron Stetson taught her the Sanford Meisner acting technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse. Sandra Bullock has received the identical training that was given to Jeff Goldblum and Leslie Nielsen. She was cast in Beverly Hills in 90210, but had move from Los Angeles to take the role.
