Dina Meyer is an New York native who was raised in Forest Hills Queens. She relocated from Queens to Dix Hills Long Island just when she was finishing her junior high. Her siblings include two younger ones and a brother who is older. Modeling was her first job within the business. She did it between the ages of nine and sixteen. Ron Stetson taught her the Sanford Meisner acting technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse. Sandra Bullock was among those who were trained in this way, as well as Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum Leslie Nielsen and Diane Keaton. Her first performance came from Beverly Hills 90210. This led to her relocating into Los Angeles. Soon after, she scored the role of the main character in the film Johnny Mnemonic, in which she did almost all of her own stunts and established herself as an athletic actress. Her agent was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent she managed to land a regular role in the show Friends.
